Electricity Markets Workshop

The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) will be hosting a two-day seminar about the fundamentals behind electricity market operation and pricing dynamics. Participants will learn about a variety of topics relating to the electrical power system infrastructure and reliability operation in addition to the locational marginal cost-based pricing mechanism underyling the wholesale elctricity market design.

Those interested in gaining a fundamental understanding of wholesale electricity market design and operation should attend this course. While knowledge of electric circuits and microeconomics are helpful, they are not prerequisites to attend. Successful completion of the workshop results in 16 hours towards professional license - continuing education requirements.
