Flourish & Prosper: The Third Global Forum
for Business as an Agent of World Benefit
Leading the Shift from Sustainability to Full-Spectrum Flourishing
The guiding aspiration of this conference is to harness the power of business for the good of society. It is no longer utopian to speak of witnessing the end of extreme poverty through profitability; or the emergence of a world of abundant, clean renewable energy; or the spread of education to every child. Business can be a pragmatic and dependable force for peace and progress—it can lead the way to a full spectrum sustainable economywhere business can prosper, people can excel, and nature can thrive. The event will also showcase the inaugural launch of a new Global Prizing process that will recognize and honor exemplars that embody the concept of business as an agent of world benefit.
With Appreciative Inquiry, the design studio format of the Global Forum is aimed at producing practical solutions to global challenges. There are a dozen mini–design summits. You can see them listed on the event agenda by going to the pull–down menu next to MINI DESIGN SUMMITS (PART 1 OF 4).
The intention is to have 1,000 business and thought leaders with the vision, experience, and commitment to work together in the mini–design summits to make a difference. Each summit is a giant design studio geared to producing prototype solutions and action plans that continue to be developed and implemented long after the event.
