Faculty

The University currently counts over 90 professors engaged in energy research, encompassing the various schools of CWRU. Multidisciplinary proposals are submitted by teams with combinations from the Case School of Engineering, College of Arts & Sciences, Weatherhead School of Management, and School of Law.  Funding has been earned from each of the major federal (NSF, DOE, ARPA-E, DoD) and state (Ohio Third Frontier) awarders, as well as from corporations and prominent foundations. Now more than ever there is a unique window of opportunity for these research collaborations to make transformational changes in the way utility scale energy is sourced, distributed and utilized.  Our ever-expanding list of collaborators speaks to the breadth of our research capabilities at GLEI.
