Four leading research universities are joining forces to accelerate innovations to address challenges and opportunities facing the energy sector.

Case Western Reserve University will lead a two-year energy storage research project, thanks to a $1.65 million grant from Ohio’s Federal Research Network (FRN).

On January 20th, the Great Lakes Energy Institute hosted a Clean Energy Student Competition to provide experience in business pitches.

In its annual list of the brightest young minds in the country, Forbes selected Felipe Gomez del Campo, a senior majoring in mechanical and aerospace engineering at Case Western Reserve University, for his excellence in energy work. Gomez del Campo was recognized for his work on a fuel injector for jet engines.
