Create Energy Opportunities: Give to the Great Lakes Energy Institute

When you support us, you support the infrastructure that brings together the students and faculty of Case Western Reserve University working with new energy technologies, policies, regulations, business principles and workforce development.  Today this infrastructure is supporting over 75 faculty at CWRU in the Schools of Engineering, Law, Management, and Arts & Sciences that are working on energy proposals or concepts. Support of Case Western Reserve University’s Great Lakes Energy Institute enables more faculty to gain access to more research dollars to advance solutions for today’s energy demands.

We would like to thank the following contributors for their generous support:

  • Cleveland Foundation
  • Milton & Tamar Maltz Professorship in Energy Innovation
  • Thomas W. & Nancy P. Seitz Professorship in Advanced Materials and Energy
  • Great Lakes Energy Institute Endowment - Anonymous
  • Walt & Sylvia Culver Energy Education Gift
  • Case Alumni Association & Individual Donors

Giving Opportunities
  • Research and Strategic Initiatives
Project funds, funds to support start-up development and student technology competition support will allow researchers and students to foster invention.
  • Education and students
Our part in taking a role in educating a larger and stronger population of students in science and engineering is enhanced by your support toward endowed professorships, undergraduate scholarships, graduate fellowships, lectureships and speaker series.
  • Naming opportunities
The addition of 4 newly created energy laboratories on Case Western Reserve University campus or endowment of the Great Lakes Energy Institute. Endowments can be through current gifts or bequests and life income arrangements.  Contributions can provide the immediate tax benefits for the donor and in some cases, provide estate tax benefits as well.

Your donation in any amount will be great appreciated by the dedicated people who make up the Great Lakes Energy Institute.  For more on giving opportunities please contact Dianne Anderson at dianne.anderson@case.edu or call 216-368-0889.
