Alexis Abramson comments on the term "energy efficiency" to E&E News

In a recent article, E&E News explored the history of the most commonly used energy terms and how often the Trump administration is currently using them. 

Alexis Abramson, Director of the Great Lakes Energy Institute, provided input on the term “energy efficiency” and how it is often used by politicians because of its universal approval. "Energy efficiency is a sort of bi-partisan term because nobody can argue against using less energy or using less energy more efficiently... In that way, you do see it used across the aisle and by various kinds of politicians. But in the president's budget, he doesn't necessarily emphasize the funding of energy efficiency."
