Mike Koralewski

Mike ​​​​​​​Koralewski is the current Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing for First Solar, Inc, a leading global provider of comprehensive photovoltaic (PV) solar systems using advanced module and system technology.  With more than 20GW of solar modules shipped today, First Solar has a demonstrated history of financial stability and manufacturing success.   

 In this role Mike has responsibility for the global manufacturing capacity strategy, which includes expansion, daily operations and purchasing for First Solar’s module technology. He has been with First Solar since 2006 and has held roles of increasing responsibility as of Vice President - Site Operations for the Perrysburg, OH location and Vice President Global Quality and Reliability. 

In all of these roles Mike has been significantly involved since the beginning of First Solar’s manufacturing scaling and expansion from site selection through sustaining operations, along with keeping the 3,000 plus manufacturing associates aligned, energized and results focused as they have constantly performed in the top tier of solar companies across the world. 

Prior to First Solar, Mike was employed by Dana Corporation, where he served as Director of Quality for their Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, along with a variety of functions throughout different business units over his 10 year time with the company.  He was part of the Business Excellence team while in the Spicer Driveshaft Division of Dana that was awarded the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2000.

He currently serves on the executive committee for Toledo’s science center, Imagination Station and Lourdes University. 

Mike obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and holds an MBA from Bowling Green State University.
