2019-20 ThinkEnergy Fellowship Application

ThinkEnergy is an innovative, student-centric program focused on experimental learning for both undergraduates and graduate students. It exposes students to a wide variety of energy topics including technology, policy, entrepreneurship, and research. We believe the skills our students develop through this program will help them become leaders in whatever fields they choose to pursue.
ThinkEnergy connects students with faculty, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and government officials. It often gives students an opportunity to operate outside of their comfort zones, developing competencies that are dissimilar to what they learn in their courses. Past students have built solar installations, launched startups, published policy reports, led research projects, sold clean energy credits, repaired wind turbines, attended Department of Energy (DOE) conferences, and completed a variety of energy-related internships. This program offers a stipend and/or travel support.
Thank you to all the students across CWRU that applied!
Applications for the next year of the ThinkEnergy Fellowship Program will open sometime in the upcoming Spring semester. Please email Mark Haberbusch, msh@case.edu, with any questions about the program.
