Lucas Fridman

Lucas is a third-year Chemical Engineering and Applied Data Science student from Baltimore, Maryland. His academic interests include photovoltaic degradation modelling and energy entrepreneurship. Currently, he is working on a project with the Solar Durability and Lifetime Extension (SDLE) Center, modelling rear side irradiance on fixed-rack solar modules as well as developing a company called Boundary Laboratories with several of the other ThinkEnergy fellows. Additionally, this summer he is working at Black Diamond Structures, a company applying carbon nanotube technology to lithium ion batteries. Outside of his academic and professional roles, Lucas dj's and produces music in his free time.
