On March 23rd at 4:30 PM, the Cleveland Water Alliance (CWA), together with the Great Lakes Energy Institute @ CWRU will be hosting a "Water Cooler" networking event at the Jolly Scholar in Thwing Hall (11111 Euclid Ave) on the Case Western Reserve University Campus. GLEI has been working with CWA to bring their members - Greater Cleveland's Water Technology community - to campus for an informal event to meet and network, so we are very excited about this opportunity. Additionally, as many of you may already know, since January 1st, the Jolly Scholar has been brewing their own beer. Dr. Michael Zagorski of CWRU's Chemistry Department will share some anecdotes on the beer brewing process, taken from his planned course on the "Chemistry of Fermentation." Additionally, Aaron Wirtz, the brewmaster for the Jolly Scholar, will provide tours of their beer-brewing facility. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
This event is only open to CWA members and CWRU faculty. For more information, please contact Eric Sokol at CWA: firstname.lastname@example.org or Grant Goodrich at GLEI: email@example.com.
